The National CEO is the Guardian Angels for Soldier's Pet "Chief Operating Officer. In this position, the CEO facilitates the entire "day-to-day" operation of the organization under the general direction of the National Board of Directors (BOD) and specific supervision of the National President.
The National CEO-in-Training will be in this role for a minimum of 1 year working with and assisting the current Natl CEO in the day to day operatoins of the organizatoin. At the end of the 1 year term (or 9 mos if applicable) where all parties involved including but not limited to the National Board of Directors, current National CEO, Regional Directors, and the CEO candidate are in agreement, the candidate is able and willing to become the organization's official National CEO.
The National CEO recommends and participates in the formulation of Guardian Angels for Soldier’s Pet policies, in the execution of its business, and in the development and maintenance of its organizational relationships with others internally and externally.
The National CEO is charged with keeping the organization’s BOD/National & State Support volunteers "up-to-date" in the accomplishments of its organizational mission including being responsible for the daily operations of the organizations to include receipt and payment of all bills.
CEO-in-Training candidate is required to report to the organization's National office southwest of Gatesville (approx 14 west of the northwest side of Fort Hood) a minimum of 3 days a weerk (10 AM - 3 PM). Saturdays are optional.
Average time involved: 150 - 200 hours per month.

Guardian Angels for Soldier's Pet a national ALL Volunteer 501(c)(3) "Military & Veterans Support Organization" (MVSO) founded for the primary purpose of assisting military service members with situations impacting their ability to retain their pet ownership rights as a result of pet owner's deployment to harm's way (combat or peace-keeping or humanitarian related mission) and specific unforeseen hardship(medicasl/homeless) siturations.
