Help give students the opportunity to create school work they can be proud of! The Forest Avenue Library has created a "Homework Hideout" study room for students in grades 4-12, who may not have adequate space or supplies to complete school work in the home. We are looking for community members to provide supervision during afterschool hours (3:00-5:00 Monday-Thursday). This is not a tutoring service, but some general homework assistance may come up. Librarians will field all the tough questions, don't sweat it! Since many students are self-sufficient with their homework, volunteers may be asked to help with additional library projects while volunteering in the Homework Hideout.
