ABOUT ROLE MODELING
Role Models are trained how to conduct 1-on-1 tutoring lessons that teach 3-year old Learners important skills--including letters, numbers, colors, shapes, writing, and reading. Lessons incorporate playful activities that grab the attention of Learners by emphasizing skills they find interesting. Once trained, Role Models can choose to receive in-lesson coaching. To make the program sustainable, parents must sign a Parent Participation Contract, which requires they sit with their child during every lesson.
OUR PROGRAM
Our Child-Parent Home Tutoring Program ensures that children and parents enter kindergarten with many practices, skills, and values known to support positive educational and life outcomes. Throughout the program, children receive a bookcase, more than 50 donated books, and other learning tools.
