The American Diabetes Association is looking for volunteers of all ages to help with our Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes at Olin Park Sunday, August 24th 2014.

Volunteers are needed for:

Step Up 5am-8:30am

Registration 7:30am-10:15am

Clean up 11:30am-1:30pm

Unloading truck at ADA office 1:30pm-3pm

Diabetes, the fifth leading cause of death by disease in the United States, impacts more than 475,000 Wisconsinites who have diabetes with an additional 1.46 million over the age of 20 who have "pre-diabetes". It is the leading cause of heart disease, stroke and kidney failure and is the most chronic disease in children. The ADA is the nation’s leading nonprofit health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy to all people affected by diabetes.
