Wanting to help an isolated aging or disabled adult with companionship? Volunteers needed to simply visit a homebound adult either once weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. You create your own schedule depending on your availability. Providing socialization and interaction to these vulnerable adults increases their quality of life tremendously. We offer services and enrichment for older and/or disabled adults living in or closeby Kernersville, NC - Offering: Transportation (medical), Friendly Calls, In-Home Visitation, Personal Shopper (grocery/pharmacy errands), Handypersons (minor repairs), Equipment Loan, Pastoral Counseling (not licensed), Medicare/SHIIP Counseling, Legal Aide Counseling, Full-time Senior Enrichment Center, Caregiver Support Group, Computer Learning Center (computer and electronic device assistance), Income Tax Prep Program (Feb-Apr annually), Information and Referrals, and Advocacy Programs.
