Join us at The Actors Theatre Workshop, an award-winning theatre and community center with a 24-year history of innovative programming! We seek marketing professionals and individuals with an experience in marketing and advertising to promote the diverse programs, classes, and productions that we offer at The Actors Theatre Workshop. Projects include the creation of marketing campaigns to develop a broader base for our acting classes and theatre events, such as our recently-launched New Play Series, as well as attracting a diverse mentor pool for our award-winning Builders of the New World, an after-school theatre and education program for homeless children throughout New York City. This position requires knowledge of developing and implementing a communications plan, including promotional materials, outlets, target audiences, and evaluation criteria. A background in social media as a marketing tool is also preferred.

Founded over two decades ago, the Actors Theatre Workshop is an established pioneer in non-profit theatre that produces classical and contemporary plays, develops new dramatic works, trains and develops actors, directors and writers while making a difference in the lives of at-risk youth and the community at large. Thurman E. Scott, ATW's artistic director, Executive Producer and Founder, is a widely acknowledged expert of artistic project development, an innovator of award-winning arts curriculums and programs for proffessional artistic training, and has a long and successful history of public service to culturaly under-served communities.
