Join The Arc Greater Twin Cities and Greater Twin Cities United Way for a ghoulish good time at the 11th annual A Celebration ofSortson Tuesday, September 16 from 9:00am-9:00pm at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds 4-H Building! Volunteers will unpack, sort, and tag over 100,000 donated Halloween costumes, clothing and accessories in preparation for the opening of Arc's Value Village Halloween Boo-tique ™. A Celebration of Sortsis a fun and energized volunteer event complete with music, prizes and the always-popular visit from the Minnesota Vikings!
This is a great opportunity for both small and large groups. Volunteers must be at least high school age.
Avaliable volunteer shifts: 9:00am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-4:00pm, & 6:00pm-9:00pm. Visit our new Online Volunteer Calendar to sign up yourself or your group! Go to arcsvaluevillage.org/volunteer/ . Click the blue "Volunteer" button to get to the volunteer calendar. In the calendar view, you will find "A CELEBRATION OF SORTS!" listed on Tuesday, September 16. Just click on your preferred shift to sign up!

NOTE: Merchandise will not be avaliable for sale at this event. Please join us for the official opening of Arc's Value Village HALLOWEEN BOO-TIQUE ™ at all Value Village locations Sept. 19 at 9 a.m. Halloween itmes will be stocked daily until the Boo-tique closes Oct. 31

Description
The Arc Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization that works to promote and protect the human rights of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc helps people navigate systems while working to advance social change centered in justice, equity and belonging in community. Arc's Value Village is a public awareness and revenue generating vehicle for The Arc Minnesota. Arc's Value Village accepts clothing, housewares, art, media, books & related items and sells those items to the community.
