Northwest Harvest needs volunteers to help a Creme Tangerine concert celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles arrival in Seattle!
In 1964, the Beatles played at the Seattle Center Coliseum. Creme Tangerine will be recreating this concert song by song and note for note. This free show will be hosted by Seattle radio personality Steve Slaton of KJR 95.7, the station that brought the Beatles here in 1964.
Creme Tangerine has chosen Northwest Harvest as the beneficiary of their concert. Volunteers are needed to hold signs and buckets to collect food and financial donations.
Volunteers who are 17 or younger are welcome at this event, but must have a parent or guardian volunteer alongside them. Service hours for work or school are possible at this event, but we are unable to provide court-related community service.
Donations benefit Northwest Harvest's network of more than 360 food banks, meal programs and high need schools. Last year, Northwest Harvest provided more than 30 million pounds of food throughout this network.

Description
Northwest Harvest collects and distributes food to more than 375 independent food banks, hot meal programs, and high need schools across Washington State without proof of need. We provide over 2 million meals every month to individuals and families in need. We also run one food bank of our own, the Cherry Street Food Bank in Seattle.
Northwest Harvest is unable to provide court-related community service.
