Chinese Communtiy Center of Flushing is seeking an individual who has the background and knowledge of photo taking to start a photogrphy class with our Senior Members once a week.
Requirement:
18 years and older
Speak Mandarin Chinese
Have patience to work with seniors
This position is volunteer at the beginning and will get paid according to the senior's feedback
Our Senior Program acknowledges that even as people age, their need to socialize still exists. This program provides seniors with the opportunity to both socialize and participate in meaningful, enjoyable activities, as well as receiving informative materials and assistance in their daily lives. Our attentive staff creates a caring, safe, and stimulating environment, with a structured daily program that helps participants remain active in the community, establish independence and self-care, and encourages positive feelings of dignity and self-worth. Photography Class is requested by some seniors, they are looking forward to hear and learn from you!
