Do your part to end hunger. The 31st Annual CROP Hunger Walk sponsored by the Lehigh County Conference of Churches is scheduled for Sunday October 12th 2014 at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church (corner of Ott and Walnut Streets)in Allentown. Volunteers are needed to assist with registration and crowd control from 12pm to 3pm. Tasks include guiding walkers to the registration table and to the starting line, working at the registration table, and answering walkers' questions. 15 volunteers are needed

Description

A partnership of approximately 140 churches and faith organizations in Lehigh County that serves as a bridge between human service, government and faith communities. Lehigh County Conference of Churches has 9 different programs and serves approximately 14,000 people a year. Lehigh County Conference of Churches works with approximately 800 volunteers every year.
