We are seeking two social media volunteers for a November 13th fundraising campaign, to operate under the guidance of our Fundraising Coordinator and a Social Media Strategist. We communicate very well using BaseCamp and HootSuite, which are very easy to use, and make management of ongoing tasks and campaigns very easy to do.
Our programs include:
Holistic stress reduction services for Veterans surviving Military Sexual Trauma, PTS (Post Traumatic Stress), homelessness, combat trauma, including:
Retreats
Skype Sessions
Shelter Outreach Program
Residential Life Skills Academy teaching sustainable construction and agriculture (soon)
A food desert program for enlisted soldiers families (soon)

Mission Statement
Silver Lining Villages’ mission is to serve displaced and overwhelmed veterans; active service military and their families, to provide them with alternative means for dealing with Post Traumatic Stress, homelessness and joblessness. It is upon these premises that our life skills academy is built.
Description
Silver Lining Villages is a self-help life skills academy providing and teaching alternative stress reduction techniques, holistic services, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), and other non-invasive stress reduction modalities for post traumatic stress, military sexual trauma, and traumatic brain injury for active duty servicemen and servicewomen and their families, as well as United States Veterans. Since 2012, we have served over 500 Veterans through a combination of Skype sessions, retreats, workshops, group sessions, individual computer training and as a clearinghouse to other services.
