AnewAmerica will be honoring and celebrating its entrepreneurs on August 13th, 2015 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Kaiser Center Roof Garden in Downtown Oakland! Our clients have put in a year of hard work to grow their microbusinesses - that's why we hold an annual exposition where they can all gather and showcase their amazing products and services. We want to make the event a success and we need your help to do it!
The event is not a traditional sit-down dinner - guests get walk around, mingle and sample many different cuisines prepared by our client vendors. Before and after our short program, there will be a festive marketplace with food and entertainment. We will also have prizes and a silent auction with prizes.
Excited yet? WE ARE! Below are the different ways you can get involved as a volunteer. If you're more interested in attending the event as a guest, register here: bit.ly/microbizEXPO2015
- Set-Up (12pm - 4:30pm): Direct clients and help them set up their booths and other general decoration
- Registration (4:30pm - 6:30pm): Check in guests and process payments for admission/sell drawing tickets
- Greeters (4:30pm - 6:30pm): Greet guests and direct them to the registration table
- Photo/Video (3:00pm - 9:00pm): Help us capture the event on film!
- Pick-a-Prize/Silent Auction (4:30pm - 8:30pm): Sell raffle tickets for Pick A Prize event, maintain Silent Auction area, and man transaction stations
- General runners and on-going maintenance (4:30pm - 9:00pm): Volunteers will be assigned a specific section of the event to oversee and help things there run smoothly
- Clean up (8:00pm-10:00pm): The most important task of all. Clean up crew get dibs on left-overs!
