We are currently seeking adults to be club mentors to assist leaders of Camp Fire Clubs. Camp Fire provides skill-building curriculum in a fun environment. Each club consists of 10-12 boys and girls in elementary school, who meet once a week on-site for 1-2 hours after school. Club meetings follow the yearly school calendar. Criteria for this position include: Positive attitude, motivation, enjoy working and actively participating with youth, and willingness to help the club leader provide quality programming. There are currently 40 positions available, which begin after September 1st. Camp Fire also offers additional club program opportunities, both volunteer and paid.

Description

Camp Fire Green Country is an inclusive, coeducational youth development organization serving nearly 2,000 youth throughout the Tulsa community. We provide programming to pre-K-12 th grade through afterschool clubs, camp & outdoor experiences, and youth leadership opportunities.

Our club leaders serve as mentors to help youth strengthen their self-confidence, identify individual sparks, or passions, and create a safe learning environment to help youth thrive.

Volunteer opportunities are available at our Spring Campout and as club leaders for fall 2018.

Training is provided and individuals must be able to pass a background check.
