Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio, with Allstate and FirstMerit Bank will be holding our 2nd annual 5 K for JA event on August 9th, 2014. This is a family friendly event with a 5k, 1 mile walk and free kids run. All funds generated from the event will support JA programs. The race will take place at First & Main Green in Downtown Hudson, Ohio.

Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio is educating students throughout Ashland, Carroll, Coshocton, Crawford, Knox, Marion, Medina, Morrow, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, Richland, Wayne and Wyandot counties.Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides programs for students in grades K-12 educating them about:
Entrepreneurship Workforce Readiness Financial Literacy
JA programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action, and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
