Girls on the Run Kentuckiana Coaches are inspirational role models dedicated to empowering girls to become healthy and confident young women.
GOTR Kentuckiana is searching for Fall/Spring Season Coaches at area elementary and middle schools. Coaching a team for the Girls on the Run program is the most rewarding way to get involved with Girls on the Run. You get to experience the program first hand, feel a sense of accomplishment as you make a difference in the lives of the girls, and have a ton of fun with your team of coaches and incredible girls!
Overall, the time commitment for coaches is about 5-6 hours each week for 10 weeks. This includes travel, preparation time, and meeting with the group for 90 minutes twice a week. Coaches are also required to complete on-line training and one in-person training, and then attend the GOTR 5K Fun Run at the end of each season in either November or May. You will cross the finish line with your team of girls with a renewed sense of awesomeness!!!
Please send us an email if you interested in helping girls reach their limitless potential this season! lisa.runkle@girlsontherun.org
