More About BEAMING, Inc.
Founded in 2004, BEAMING, Inc. Therapeutic Riding strives to create life-changing experiences for individuals with special needs and their families.
In therapeutic horseback riding, the legs of the horse become the legs of the rider. Horseback riding lessons foster a new sense of freedom and mobility for our riders. Riding a horse mimics the movement of walking, a difficult motion to duplicate in a clinical setting. Our PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) certified instructors lead lessons designed to enhance the physical, cognitive and emotional well-being of riders. There are many benefits of therapeutic horseback riding
- Greater muscle strength, postural control and coordination
- Improved memory and cognitive skills
- Renewed ability to focus and balance
- Increased self-esteem and self- confidence.
BEAMING believes in the power of therapeutic equine therapy to help every individual reach their potential. Our unique equine program allows people and horses to develop lasting relationships.
Our Mission
We shall enhance the quality of life for families with special needs through developing connecting relationships with people and horses.
Our Vision
We will facilitate life changing experiences for all involved with the aid of our equine companions. Our goal is to overcome the challenges of today while continually growing to meet the needs of tomorrow.
