Are you a web whiz with a big heart? ACE is seeking a volunteer to assist with updates/upgrades and enhancements to our Wordpress-based website. We'd love to have someone who could work with us on an ongoing basis, but also open to someone who can swoop in and help us address our most pressing issues. Most, if not all of the work, could be done remotely.
Immediate needs include:
- Upgrading to the next version of Wordpress
- Improving social media integration
- Making tweaks to the homepage and sub-page templates
- Making the site mobile friendly, which might involve moving to a different template

EcoAction Arlington is a unique, local, grassroots environmental education and service organization that has served the Arlington community for decades.
We are a small nonprofit, whose mission is to educate, advocate, and act to create a sustainable community by improving our natural environment, encouraging environmentally-friendly behaviors, ensuring environmental justice, and addressing the climate crisis. We promote a greener community by effectively mobilizing our neighbors and business leaders to address issues such as addressing climate change, reducing habitat destruction, and protecting our natural resources.
Our focus on engaging local citizens in environmental stewardship and creating green lifestyles distinguishes EcoAction Arlington from other environmental education and service organizations.
