Are you able to donate 2-3 hours every month or so helping FAR out with minor IT tasks? We strive to keep our administrative costs low, and having your help with things like updating computers and taking care of non-emergency items that come up would help us continue to do so. This is not your typical IT position--we will NOT make frantic emergency calls to you. But you will get our undying appreciation!

Description
FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing a space for folks with special needs to enrich their lives. Founded in 1951, we work with clients of all ages, introducing them to new activities and experiences, helping them gain a deeper understanding of themselves and showing them new ways to communicate how they feel.
Through the dedication of our highly-trained staff and the support of partners and collaborating organizations throughout Metro Detroit, we offer music, art, dance/movement and recreational therapy for children and adults with a variety of special needs diagnoses. We go into schools in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties to provide music, art, dance/movement and recreational therapy for students receiving special education services. We work to expose our clients to new avenues of expression which serve to improve how they relate and interact with their environments and families.
