You can enjoy the satisfaction of providing a hospice patient with physical and emotional comfort by sewing special items for patients during their end of life journey. The fabric and instructions are provided by the hospice, but we need YOUR talent and skill!! If you can knit or crochet simple lap robes or afghans you can bring warmth to hospice patients! Often these hand-made items are the last gifts of love our patients will receive. Please consider becoming an Evergreen Hospice Care Volunteer and truly make a difference in the lives of members of our community. It's easy and fun to be an Evergreen Hospice Care Volunteer. Please contact me to get started.
