Community Action Partnership of Northwest Montana (CAPNM) has been helping people, improving lives and
strengthening our communities since 1976.
On August 23, 2014, we will hold the First Annual Gravelpalooza at the LHC Office at 1179 Stillwater Road. At this exciting family event kids will experience first-hand how to operate heavy equipment with the help of trained operators. Come join us for food, kids activities, and lots of fun in the dirt!
CAPNM is currently seeking volunteers to work the evening of August 22, 2014 completing set-up and then for the day of the event August 23, 2014. Volunteers are needed for the following areas/tasks:
Parking Lot Attendant
First Aid booth
Set-up
Sell T-shirts
Clean-up
Monitor lines & driving time
Water Delivery to Operators
Help Operators Load/Unload kids from equipment
Equipment Operator

Description
Community Action Partnership of Northwest Montana, formerly Northwest Montana Human Resources is a private, non-profit organization governed by a twelve member Board of Directors. Community Action Partnership of Northwest Montana was founded in 1976 with the overall mission to "provide services and advocacy to improve lives and strengthen communities". We are in a unique position to pursue federal, state, private and local funding, giving us the flexibility to focus our efforts and maximize resources to better serve the changing needs of our communities.
Community Action Partnership of Northwest Montana's programs are community-based. We serve individuals and families by identifying and using available community resources and services to promote long-term self-sufficiency and independence. CAP of NW MT serves the four counties of northwestern Montana: Flathead, Lake, Lincoln and Sanders Counties. These counties total 13,375 square miles and are home to over 130,000 people.
