To raise the funds needed to purchase school supplies in bulk so that children from homeless and poverty stricken families can receive them FREE at our "Creating Great Minds Back-2-School Bash" & FREE Community Dinner which will be the following weekend. We are hosting a Charity Car Wash at 2804 S. Rio Grande Ave. Orlando, FL in th e RIGHT FUEL & FOOD STORE PARKING LOT Saturday, August 9th from 9:00am until 1:00ppm
We are in need of volunteers to help wash cars, give directions as needed to the patrons,keep any donations dropped off organized and hold signs to usher in the cars passing by.
If it rains on Saturday, we will be there the next day August 10th to have our Car Wash. If this is an opportunity that you'd like to get involved in to help homeless & poverty stricken children get off to a good start this school year plwase contact us at volunteers@agratefulmind.org

Mission Statement
The mission of A Grateful Mind International is to provide immediate humanitarian relief to individuals and families who are experiencing a crisis; while providing them access to educational resources that will empower them to move beyond their crisis on to a path of sustained self-sufficiency.
Description
Since 2011, we continue to be dedicated to preventing and ending hunger, and homelessness, while transforming lives from poverty and homelessness with education & skills training that builds self-sufficiency with dignity, pride and purpose in the regions by which we serve.
Our primary goal while delivering our program services and outreach, remains to be for meeting people where they are, at their point of need and offering a realistic solution to their crises.
Now, during Phase Two of our program provisions, we are working feverishly and to acquire single and multi-family housing to provide supportive housing to those we serve to help men, women and children rebuild with a sustainable life plan.
We are excited about what the future holds for the communities we serve and are glad you've considered connecting with us!
