Volunteers are needed on Sunday, August 2nd to help with the 7th Annual La Guelaguetza Festival on the waterfront at Waryas Park in Poughkeepsie. This is a vibrant cultural festival, celebrating the traditional food, dance and customs of Oaxaca, Mexico.
Volunteers will help with setting up tables/chairs/decorations, greeting patrons, parking, assisting performers, keeping the grounds clean, event break down, and clean up!
Set up shift: 10:30am - 1:00 pm
Open Shift 1:00pm - 4:00 pm
Closing Shift 4:00pm - 8:00 pm
All volunteers are given a free meal! This event will happen rain or shine. Documentation for service is available!
