Like working with kids? Want to help a student improve in school? GIVE is looking for high school tutors for the 2014-2015 school year! We have 13 tutoring centers in Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties with more than 1000 community members involved in our K-6 tutoring program.

To inspire youth to believe in their potential by leveling the playing field with respect to the home (finances, education level, language, etc)
Description
GIVE (Growth and Inspiration through Volunteering and Education, LLC) is a completely youth-led, youth-run non-profit (501c3) organization that works to provide youth, especially those who are underprivileged, with resources to excel in academics and in leadership. GIVE has four main projects: a free tutoring and mentorship program in 13 centers, a focused children’s book publication, an annual county-wide test preparation material drive (and delivery project), and a summer STEM camp for youth. GIVE also has a number of youth leadership training opportunities such as the Core Team, the Executive Team, and the Center Manager and Assistant positions.
