The 4th Annual Lucky Dog Jog will be held on Sunday, August 24, from 8:00-1:00 at Bear Creek Regional Park in Colorado Springs.

We need volunteers to help as course marshalls, K9 Olympics, bobbing for hot dogs and other games for people and dogs, set-up, tear-down, security, vendor liaisons.

This is our main fundraiser of the year. The money raised helps us provide veterinary care, food, training and fun for our rescue dogs.

About Lucky Dog Rescue

Mission Statement

Lucky Dog Rescue is dedicated to saving unwanted dogs and finding them forever homes. Passionate about the prevention of cruelty to animals, we want to be a leader within the Colorado Springs community and educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, while advocating for animals that have no voice, by offering training and other resources as alternatives to re-homing.

Description

Lucky Dog Rescue is an all-breed canine rescue located in Colorado Springs. Since our incorporation in July 2010, we have rescued and adopted out over 450 dogs. All our rescue dogs benefit from positive reinforcement training under the direction of Angie Neal and the Lucky Dog University apprenticeship program. Some of our dogs stay at Lucky Dog Resorts and Training and others are fostered by volunteers.
