ITNGreaterCincinnati, the area’s non-profit transportation alternative for seniors and visually impaired adults is looking for help in our office. Our office is open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. We have several part-time opportunities available to help seniors. Volunteers are needed to help provide telephone support to callers requesting information regarding ITNGreaterCincinnati’s services and members scheduling rides. Responsibilities will involve: Processing telephone requests for rides, including recording all information in the appropriate place and entering ride data for the correct day and time into ITN’s software. Educating callers about ITNGreaterCincinnati’s services (membership and volunteer driver opportunities) Assist in communication with all drivers to monitor their needs, location and availability. Providing administrative support to the Office Coordinator and Executive Director as needed, including assistance with various monthly mailings and member statement mailings may Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to speak and write clearly Excellent phone presence Must know how to use a computer with internet access and have basic proficiency with MS Office suite of products. Able to learn ITNRides proprietary software, e-mail, Internet. Prior administrative/clerical experience. Ability to touch type. Ability to read detailed maps quickly and accurately; and communicate effectively with ITN staff and drivers. Must be able to work without close supervision and meet timelines. Ability to plan, organize, problem solve, and prioritize. Commitment to the ITN mission and values.
