Hey sis, I love you!

We are currently looking to fill the following volunteer positions. Training is provided:

Cat care: Love everything cats? Looking for a way to teach your children responsible pet care? Well, we’ve got the job for you! Our cat caregivers clean, feed and play with the cats. AM and PM shifts are available 7 days a week. On average these shifts last less than 2 hours and offer a flexible start time.

Snuggle Corps: Litter boxes not your thing? Not a fan of early mornings? No problem! Our cats would love to have midday visitors stop by for petting and playtime. 2 minutes or 2 hours, if you’ve got the time, we’ve got the cats!

Laundry: Love a challenge? How about tackling some laundry? Summer heat means shedding cats, and we do not have laundry facilities on-site. Even if you can only take one load a month, any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are also in need of volunteers to help with adoption events, foster care, fundraising, grant writing, website design, community outreach, facility improvements and much, much, more.

Description

We are a small, no-kill, non-profit cat rescue located in Flint Hill, VA. We opened the first cat friendly adoption center (shelter) in the county in October of 2013. We do not receive any support from our local government and rely mainly on volunteers and public donations to keep our doors open.
