Do you want to help make a difference for those in your community who don't have insurance?

We are looking for passionate people to work with our Navigator Program Specialist in reaching out to our community and serving those uninsured individuals and famiilies. Navigators assist those without insurance to obtain coverage.

We would love to have volunteers who have clerical/office skills including knowledge of excel and have the passion to help those in need and give back to the community.

There are so many people in our community who are needlessly going without insurance.

Agency Overview

Established in 1965, Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders Counties Community Action empowers people living in poverty to reach economic stability. We offer 16 unique programs to ensure that everyone, regardless of their economic situation, has the opportunity to thrive.

Last year, Community Action served 17,805 individuals and families. Our high-quality early childhood education programs ensure that our community's most vulnerable children are ready for kindergarten, and more likely to graduate from high school. Families learn and save in our matched savings program as they work to purchase their first home, launch or expand a business, or continue their education. At Community Action, individuals build their skills in orer to acheive meaningful employment. We offer the critical next steps in establishing and maintaining long-term economic stability.

Our participants are remarkable people. They take responsibility for making lasting changes in their lives by making use of their own unique strengths. As a result, they are better able to manage their living situations, and make positive steps toward economic stability.
