ORGANIZATION: Food Share, Inc.

Ventura County Fair 2014

Limit to 2 shifts for now until everyone gets a chance to see and sign up for this opportunity. If there are spots closer to the event date, then you can sign up for more.

Because we rely on you to cover your shift, we ask that you only sign up if you know you will be able to cover your shift. If you are unable to attend, please help us out by finding a replacement.

No one under the age of 12.

Anyone signing up will need to be able to interact with the public and help manage the activities.

We would like to have a meeting for all our VC Fair volunteers on Monday, July 21st and then Tuesday, July 22nd for those who can't make the Monday meeting.

Volunteer responsibilities:

See binder at FOOD Share exhibit upon arrival. You are open to help with any of the following areas -
•Manage children's coloring activity
•Manage planting activity
•Speak about our truck farm
•Distribute information on FOOD Share Gleaning, Fruit Share, Garden Share program

Attire: Casual, closed toed shoes, FOOD Share name tag, (will be provided in binder)
