We are in need of an experienced website designer to create a new website for AnimalKind. AnimalKind is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Raleigh, NC with a mission of ending the unnecessary euthanasia of cats and dogs in NC shelters by helping low-income families prevent unwanted pet litters.

AnimalKind has a proactive mission that responds to pet overpopulation in NC, attempting to stop it at the source; keeping pets from ever entering shelters. We have free statewide spay/neuter resources, and a voucher program in four counties and one township, for qualifying low-income families to get their pets spayed/neutered for a low cost. We strive to treat our clients with care and understanding and we desire to keep our supporters informed of AnimalKind’s happenings, providing various ways for those supporters to offer their time, efforts, and monies to aid our cause.

We are in need of a new website to accomplish the above mentioned goals as well as attracting more people to an eye-catching, clear, and easy to follow website.

We would like to keep our current host, Web.com and build a site with WordPress, but are open to other suggestions. We are interested in a site that, once built, we can update, maintain, and change from within our organization.

We’d love someone that not only has skills in web design, but is creative, adaptable/flexible, detail oriented, and has great communication skills.
