Community Threads is looking for volunteers who are eBay savvy to research, photograph, list, pack and ship items for our upscale nonprofit thrift store in Arlington Heights, IL. All store profits go to help the homeless and abused and provide scholarships for needy kids. We also help animal shelters and local libraries.
Volunteers will be given selected items to research, photograph, list on eBay or Amazon, pack or ship when sold. Must have computer skills and experience on eBay, Amazon or Craigslist.

Home of the Sparrow provides Hope, Opportunity and Support to empower women and children as they journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
Description
Volunteers are the backbone of Home of the Sparrow. Each time you volunteer, you become part of a woman’s story as she journeys to self-sufficiency!
Home of the Sparrow provides Transitional Shelter, as well as Affordable Housing and Rapid Re-Housing for women and children. Our Supportive Services address the core issues of homelessness.
We invite you to volunteer and shop at our Sparrow's Nest and Community Tread Thrift Stores. Stores are located in Woodstock, McHenry, Cary, Palatine, Mundelein, Third Lake, and Arlington Heights.
