Wonderland Developmental Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to serving children in north King and south Snohomish counties with developmental delays and disabilities. Volunteer Position: SlimeRun Volunteer (Slime Slingers)
Volunteer Opportunity Description:
Wonderland is a featured beneficiary of The 2014 Slime Run! This means that while we supply volunteers to assist during this event we will receive a percentage of the event proceeds! This will go directly towards helping the more than 130 children and families we serve every month. We are looking for volunteers who are ready to have a good time and join us for an epic volunteer opportunity! The Slime Run will be held on Saturday, September 13 th from 9AM to about 2PM at Remlinger Farm in Carnation.
Volunteers will represent Wonderland during the day on our special volunteer team. Minimum age requirement is 13 years old and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We are looking for volunteers to help with:
- Spraying people with slime
- Registration and packet pick-up
- Handing out buckets of slime
- Passing out medals
All volunteers will receive:
- Cool Slime Run Slime Slinger t-shirt
- An awesome Slime Run medal!
- Food and refreshments day-of
- Official Slime Run Head Band
- Official barrel of Slime Run Slime
- Signed credit for educational purposes
- Feeling good knowing that you helped children with special needs in our community!

Description
Wonderland serves children ages birth to three years with developmental deays and disabilities and their families in north King and south Snohomish counties. In 2019, we will open our Hope RISING Clinic which will be the nation's first comprehensive center specializing in diagnosis and treatment of children birth through 12 years of age exposed to substances prenatally.
