The American Diabetes Association needs volunteers to help cheer on the walkers and monitor the course for Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes.
Cheerleaders/Course Monitors will cheer on walker before and after the event along the walking path as well as direct walkers to the correct path to walk on. Cheerleaders/Course Monitors must be friendly, enthusiastic, and loud. If needed, please bring camping chair for use to avoid standing for long periods of time on course.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and swag to use to cheer on the walkers.
