LAWA is looking for volunteers for our Padres y Padrinos Program. This program aims to assist Latino children with their academic and social development.
Tutors help with reading skills using short stories or math using basic math skills. Most importantly, you will be a mentor and friend to a child. The ideal volunteer can commit to one hour a week for 28 weeks, to see their student through the entire program.
We currently serve 2 schools: Huntingtowne Farms Elementary and Albemarle Rd. Elementary
**Spanish knowledge NOT a requirement**
