PICC is a statewide coalition committed to advancing immigrant rights in Pennsylvania. You can learn about our campaigns and advocacy work on our website. Our volunteers help with all parts of our work, from registering new voters at weekly citizenship ceremonies to assisting with policy research. This summer and fall we are in great need of volunteers to help with voter outreach and education. We will be conducting weekly phone banks and canvasses in Philadelphia and surrounding areas to make sure that everyone gets out to the polls in November. We ask that all new volunteers attend an orientation to learn more about PICC's work, and to identify which project would be the best fit. Next volunteer orientation: Wednesday, July 23, 12pmPICC Office, 2100 Arch St., Room 301, Philadelphia, PA
All volunteer orientations will take place on Tuesday's at 5:00pm and Wednesday's at 1:00pm (Except for this week 7/23/14) If you can't attend the next orientation, please call 215-832-3482 or email mariasotomayor@paimmigrant.org to schedule an alternate time. We look forward to meeting you! Sincerely, Maria

Mission Statement
PICC is a diverse coalition that represents the needs of immigrants, migrants, refugees and other new Americans living in Pennsylvania to policy makers, public officials, and the general public. We seek to educate the public and develop support for fair policies that welcome and sustain immigrants.
Description
We believe that immigrants, refugees and other new Americans make significant contributions to our nation, state, region, and our local communities. They pay taxes in our local economy, revitalize neighborhoods as renters, consumers and even business owners and home owners, and bring a rich cultural diversity.
