Hospice Volunteer Training - Newton

Compassionate Care Hospice (CCH) is seeking volunteers to offer companionship and support to end of life patients and their families for one to two hours per week. Individuals with skills in alternative healing practices (e.g. musicians, massage therapists, Reiki practitioners, certified pet therapists, or licensed estheticians) are particularly encouraged to join our holistic approach to care. If you would like to help hospice patients indirectly with your administrative talents, CCH is also seeking volunteers to help with administrative tasks in our Woburn office such as assisting with filing, mailings and data entry.

The next training is scheduled for 3 Thursday evenings in Newton - 11/5, 11/12 and 11/19 from 6-9 pm. Volunteers are trained by the hospice team and supervised by the Volunteer Coordinator. Please contact Aimee at 781-426-6233 or aimee.farrell@cchnet.net for more information.
