Working along side our Palliative Medicine Nurse Practitioner a volunteer would be needed 1-2 days a week for 2-3 hours to help with administrative tasks. This volunteer need is located in our Wellesley office.
Tasks include:
Data Research
Data mining of patient care
Packet making
Copying/scanning

Description
As a member of the Hospice team, our volunteers offer companionship and supportive care to the patient and/or the family, this may be by reading, playing music, sitting quietly, hand holding, or any number of ways that the vounteer to assist the patient or family.
AseraCare Hospice has patients in nursing facilities and private homes in the Greater Boston area including North Shore and South Shore areas. Volunteers will be placed in area's accesible to their home or work.
