Do you love working with kids? Do you want to help youth who have experienced homelessness excell in school and in life? Our after-school volunteers work with staff to plan and facilitate after-school programming that incorporates enrichment activities, homework time, and peer socialization.
Stability is importan for these students, so we ask that volunteers commit to working at least once a week for the full semester and/or academic school year.
Volunteers work with K-4th Graders Monday & Wednesday evenings from 4:00 - 5:30 pm, and 5-12th Graders Tuesday & Thursday from 3:30 - 5:30 pm.

Mission Statement
The mission of Emma Norton Services is transformational housing for women and families on their journey of recovery.
Description
Emma Norton Services partners with women, children and families who are homeless and experiencing the challenges of mental and/or chemical disabilities. Without having to worry about the basic need of a safe, secure place to live, women and children can utilize and focus on supportive programs, life skills, services and opportunities available to accomplish their goals. We operate two site-based facilities in the Twin Cities, Emma Norton Residence and Emma's Place, as well as a supportive housing program in the community through our Scattered Site program.
Emma Norton Residence is a housing program in downtown St. Paul serving 50 adult women at any given time. Emma's Place in Maplewood offers permanent, supportive and affordable housing for 13 families with three or more children. After-school and children's programming includes educational, recreational, and motivational activities. Our new Scattered Site program partners with small landlords to support women and families secure housing and thrive in the community.
