Do you enjoy period dramas? Is your idea of the perfect vacation tromping through ruins or dusty exhibits? Then you may be perfect for the Gaithersburg Community Museum’s new History Corps! The museum is looking for volunteers who will help visitors during museum hours explaining the exhibits and facilitating visitor participation. Time commitment is one day per week or one Saturday per month. Museum hours, starting September 1, are Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00-3:00. Museum training will be provided as well as opportunities for additional training in local history and museum practices.
