Oktoberfest in the Kentlands takes place on Sunday, October 12 th. The expanded festival covers Kentlands Village Green, the grounds of Kentlands Mansion, Main Street and Market Square, all connected by marked walking paths and a festival-wide trolley route. About 65 volunteers are needed to set-up, meet and greet festival goers, assist in the information booths, manage children's games and introduce festival-goers to the new Oktoberfest App. Additionally, volunteers are need to monitor lines in the Beer Garden and Wine Terrace; and manage the entertainment stages. Oktoberfest Volunteer Shifts are 6:30-6:00.
