Union County Christmas parade

Looking to gain Volunteer Coordinator experience for that job you want in the non-profit sector. What better way to add to your repertoire than with a Christmas Parade!

The assignment would include recruiting volunteers, assisting the parade coordinator, and assigning volunteers to individual posts.

The volunteer coordinator should be accessible to provide support, advise and guidance to the volunteers to guarantee they carry out their responsibilities effectively.

This fun-filled event is the Union County Christmas Parade set for November 23rd. The event begins at 2:00pm and volunteers begin at 11:00 receive their assignment and have lunch at 12:00. The event will end at 4:00. The parade consists of over 2000 participants and 10,000 - 20,000 spectators depending on the weather.

The event is expanding this year and therefore needs approximately 15-20 new volunteers and an individual to lead the way.
