The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers to help serve at the Valley of Hope Gala. The Gala is an elegant event dedicated to raising funds to benefit the Society’s mission; eliminating cancer.
We are currently in need of 80 volunteers to help on the day and evening of the event in a variety of ways including, set-up, registration, silent auction helpers, live auction spotters, table concierge, check-out and event tear down. Volunteers requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- The following volunteer time slots are available: 1 st Shift is from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 2 nd Shift is from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and 3 rd Shift is from 8:00 p.m. to Midnight. Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- The dress code during set-up of the event will be casual and comfortable. Dress code for the night of the event will be black pants and Valley of Hope T-shirt (provided).
