Through the offering of free pet collars to community members, Shangri-La's "Paws" and Think Campaign aims to spread the belief that ALL PEOPLE CAN WORK and asks recipients of the collars to take a moment to think about all of the things people with disabilities are capable of doing in their community. Shangri-La has 1000s of collars to package.
Individual Service:
Individuals can pick-up a box of materials, package the collars on their own time at a location of their choosing or complete the packaging at a Shangri-La site during regular business hours.
Group Service:
This is a great group service project for groups between 3-15 that can last 1-2 hours. The project can be done at a Shangri-La office or remotely at the group's location of choice. All materials are provided. It wanted, it is possible to do the project with individuals with disabilities served by Shangri-La.

Shangri-La is an Oregon-based non-profit that provides services and supports to people with disabilities or disadvantages so they may recognize and achieve their full potential. We aim to create communities where all people are accepted for their abilities and celebrated for their accomplishments.
Shangri-La provides services in Marion, Polk, Yamhill, Linn, Benton, Lincoln and Lane counties. Volunteer opportunities vary by location. Please see individual volunteer opportunities for specific location.
