Help special needs children with the game of baseball. No baseball skills necessary. Just lots of encouragement and enthusiasm. Games last about 75 minutes. We play games every Saturday in the spring and the fall starting at 11:30, 12:45, 2:00 and 3:15. Volunteers can help at any number of games they wish although we love either multi -week or multi-game commitments. The season runs from Saturday, September 8th through October 13th, with October 20th slated as a rain make-up date. Must pre-register to be a volunter.

The Miracle League of Massachusett's mission is to enrich the community by providing leadership and administration for a baseball program for children with physical and/or mental disabilities. In a manner consistent with league and community values, every player hits, every player gets on base, every player scores, and every player wins - every inning.
Description
The Miracle League of Massachusetts is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that provides all children with the opportunity to play baseball in an organized non-competitive league at no cost to their families. Our players are children aged 5 to 18 with a disability that keeps them from playing in a mainstream league. Miracle League team members are assigned buddies who assist them in hitting the ball, running the bases, and fielding. During every game, each child is given an opportunity to hit the ball and score a run.
