The Park Slope Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District is seeking volunteers to help us run our South Slope Summer Strolls events. We need help running activities, setting up and tearing down. The event is like a 7-block long block party, so the work is fun!

Mission Statement
The Park Slope Fifth Avenue BID is made up of property owners and commercial tenants who are dedicated to promoting business development and improving the area's quality of life. We deliver supplemental services such as sanitation and maintenance, public safety and visitor services, marketing and promotional programs, capital improvements, and beautification for the area - all funded by a special assessment paid by property owners within the district.
Description
Launched by the Fifth Avenue Merchants Association and local property owners, the BID’s principal aim lies in promoting and maintaining this bustling commercial avenue--with a special emphasis on sanitation services, economic development programs, business assistance initiatives and community events. The 5th Avenue business improvement district is the third formed in Community Board 6 and is among the nearly 60 City BIDs under contract with the New York City Department of Small Business Services
