We are looking for outreach volunteers to perform a variety of outreach tasks on behalf of Valley Family Center. These include, but are not limited to:
-Social media outreach: post weekly social media updates to the Center's Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms under the supervision of the Development Associate.
-Grassroots community outreach: distributing flyers and tabling at community events, and performing other forms of grassroots outreach within the San Fernando Valley and other local communities on behalf of Valley Family Center.
"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms(1 Peter 4:10)."

Description
Valley Family Center (VFC) was founded in 1987 with the mission to provide counseling and educational services that facilitate personal growth, strengthen the family unit, and protect human dignity for all persons in need.
To achieve the mission, Valley Family Center provides individual, couple and family therapy, coordinated services for victims, children, and perpetrators of domestic violence and parenting education.
The Learning Center provides tutoring and academic support for at-risk youth. VFC also provides school counseling services for children and their families at a local elementary school.
Valley Family Center is a non-profit, non-sectarian, 501 (c) 3 organization that is committed to making its services accessible to the low-income community of the San Fernando Valley who could not afford these services otherwise. Culturally competent programs are provided in English and Spanish. All program fees are based on a sliding scale, according to the ability to pay.
We continue to work diligently since we believe that our relationship with our clients is the single most important factor in successful therapy.
