Elder Services, Inc. provides programs, services, and resources to assist people age 60 and over in Johnson County and east central Iowa to stay active, independent, and safe in their homes. Volunteers are needed to help with a variety of office tasks. These tasks may include preparation of mailings, data entry, and filing, among others. By helping with these tasks, it enables our staff to continue to provide much-needed services to clients. While the amount of time volunteers serve is flexible, we generally require that volunteers serve during our regular office hours: Mondays through Fridays, 8:00AM to 4:30PM. This is a great volunteer opportunity for people seeking a flexible volunteer opportunity in a quiet office environment.

Description
Elder Services, Inc is the provider of Meals on Wheels and Senior Dining to Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty. As well as rural deliveries to Johson, Iowa, Cedar and Washington counties in Iowa to ensure those that are 60 years and over can remain safe, active and independent.
Our nutrition program provides upwards of 325 hot meals each day with roughly 150 of them brought to their homes with help of volunteers like you!
