Calling all interested adults wanting to volunteer for a day to rebuild homes after Hurricane Sandy.
Please consider joining us on September 24th to assist in rebuilding homes across Union Beach, NJ. A United Way liaison will lead the group in one or more of the following tasks: demolition, debris removal, installing sheet rock, installing insulation, painting, and/or plastering. Volunteers are asked to wear work boots or other thick soled shoes (no tennis shoes) and clothes that they do not mind getting dirty or ruined from working. All tools will be on-site.

When ALICE suffers and is forced to make difficult choices, we all face serious consequences. United Way is fighting for ALICE - a population that is critical to the stability of our communities. We are looking beyond temporary fixes to find solutions that result in long-term, sustainable change for individuals and families.
