Pleasantdale Storage of Doraville has supported Lift Up Atlanta from day one and we definitely appreciate that. They wanted to do a fundraiser for our Bless the Homeless program.

We definitely need it. Each month we are running low on simple things like deodorant, toothpaste and other little items.

We need your help to pull this fundraiser off. Pleasantdale Storage is providing the place, food and promotion.

We just need your energy and good spirits for the car wash.

You can volunteer for a few hours or from 9am to 3pm whatever is convenient for you. We need all the help we can get. Bring your family and friends and have a good time while helping.

Our goal is to provide supportive services to homeless women and children and partner with the community at large to help better their lives.

Description

Lift Up Atlanta, Inc. is a volunteer organization that provides basic care, recreational activities, hot meal programs etc. for homeless women and children. We also help feed the hungry with food drives and providing meals.

We partner with other non profit organizations to provide toys at Christmas, seasonal food baskets, furniture move-ins for the homeless, summer lunch programs for kids, back packs/school supplies for kids etc..

Our ultimate goal is provide transitional housing for homeless women and children and a resource center so that they can get all the services that they need to empower them to have a much better life.
