Camp Soaring Eagle relies on volunteers for a number of needs: counselors, medical staff and activity helpers. We look for fun, energetic and enthusiastic people who can help bring our healing power of laughter to our campers. This is the opportunity to create last memories for our kiddos and their families. Our volunteers must be at least 19 years old and go through a background check. Transportation is provided to our camper weekends. We meet at Cardon Children’s Medical Center on Friday at 2pm, travel to camp via bus with our campers and return to Cardon Sunday afternoon.

Our mission is to provide the healing power of laughter to thousands of seriously ill children by giving them the opportunity to go to a medically supervised camp at no cost to the campers and families.
Description
We were founded in 2007 and are funded by charitable donations. Camp is free of charge to the camper and their families. We provide year round camp programs to children living with serious illness. We serve campers ages 6-16. Our programs include illness specific camper weekends, sibling camper weekends, family retreats, and Camp Outreach. We currenlty serve 14 different illness groups. Our camp programs are in a medically safe setting.
