KidWorks Classic Golf Tournament is our annual spring fundraising event. KidWorks has two fundraising events per year. The golf event starts with a continental breakfast and ends with a buffet dinner/19 th hole reception, where silent and live auctions are held.
An important part of the KidWorks Classic Golf Tournament is the auctions, both live and silent. At the evening/19 th Hole reception, the Auction committee has a display of about 20-30 silent auction items, with a retail value of $200 or more/each. In addition, 6-8 high-ticket items are presented by the MC for live bidding. The items that usually get more bidding interest are: exclusive wines, dinner packages, travel, one-of-a-kind experiences, and jewelry.
The auction/raffle sub-committee will work under the leadership of the Auctions/Raffle Sub-Committee Chair and in cooperation with KidWorks’ Corporate Relations Manager. Committee members have the goal of securing auction items and raffle (opportunity drawing) items for the event, to help contribute to the overall event fundraising goal.

3. Solicit individuals and businesses to donate items to the silent and live auctions
